I ran into an interesting post today on my fav website http://bglhonline.com/ about braid extension http://bglhonline.com/2011/03/roll-call-your-experience-with-braid-extensions/
. It turns out that a deep treatment with apple cider vinegar can cure itchy scalp; cant wait to try.

So if you have not been following with my natural hair journey you should know that I have embarked on a 2 years braid challenge. I honestly underestimated myself when I decided to do so. I thought it was just a phase and once I started to miss my hair I would give up....WRONG! I am pleased to announce my success with this challenge, I am going on one year in September and my hair is thriving. I notice it is thicker than ever, and very healthy. If I can choose 3 things I care the most about when it comes to natural hair they would be;
1. Health
2. Moister
3.versatility
The list would go in this exact order. I notice length is a given when manes is properly caring for. Frankly, I am enjoying all the phases to long hair not through long hair...who knows, I may do a drastic hair cut in the middle of my journey just because I get bored very easily. But then again, I love to experiment with different styles. I am sure I will come up with enough styles to keep my mind off the scissors. I also promised my mother if she supported me in my decision to go natural I would never cut my hair again (now I am wishing I wouldn't have) LOL. A promise is a promise and I intend to keep it... besides I didn't say anything about trims (wink wink).
This time around I took a break from kinky twist and went back to the good ole regular braids. I cut it in a medium ebony bob and really like the results. I have the attention span of a 5 year old boy when it comes to EVERYTHING. I GET BORED EXTREMELY EASILY,I just had to change it up.
