I love God & my family. Some of my hobbies include; natural hair, music, fashion, and did I mention natural hair. I am the ultimate girlie girl; I love dressing up, doing hair, makeup, fashion and SHOES. I value family, life, embrace self acceptance and cherish the things God give me to steward. I am optimistic and also a skeptic. It cost absolutely nothing to be positive or negative, I choose to be positive. This blog will incorporate a mixture of things that I am most passionate about. The main focus is hair but I will throw other things in there every once in a while. Please feel free to comment and ask questions, I LOVE QUESTIONS! Since going natural I have been glued to my laptop, I enjoy networking with other naturals who share the same love and respect for natural hair. My goal is to reach waist length hair by Aug 23, 2013. Thank you for stopping by Peace & blessings. Happy growing!!!!

Puff with Sammys Curls creme

Today is my wash day and although I dread doing it today the job had to be done. I misplaced my boners liquid soap so I grabbed the least best thing available; shampoo!
I conditioned with Aussie moist and detangled after rinse with Samys curl creme. I applied Samys curl creme as a leave in for my wash n go puff. To sleek my edges I applied a small amount of Castor oil to my edges with my hands (no brush), I then used my sating silk scarf to wrap my head, the results were good enough to make me write a post. Natural hair never lets me down so it's no surprise that the results were satisfactory but believe it or not I am starting to think the fact that I have learned my hair plays a major part. I remember having lots of failed styles due to lack of knowledge of the products, now that I cut out a lot of them it's easier to get better results and narrow down what works and what doesn't when I use 1 at a time. Of course I took pix to share. Enjoy!
